RECORDING ARTIST / SONGWRITER /PRODUCER

Uniquely talented recording artist in his 29th year of professional singing with a voice alive with the dynamics of faith and experience.   Produced and recorded five solo CDs.   Accomplished songwriter in gospel and patriotic music.  Prior to launching solo career, sang lead for over a decade with the Cumberland Boys, Opryland’s Gospel Quartet, in Nashville, Tennessee.  Gained initial professional singing experience with Re-Creation, an award winning Pennsylvania based touring ensemble.

“Jim Worthing offers what few performers are able…a thrilling, audience-engaging stage show….a soaring, unmatched vocal ability…and a genuine spirit of concern for America and her people!  The magic is more than what he does…it’s who he is!  When we want to not only entertain our audience, but inspire them as well, we turn to Jim Worthing.”

Jay Muller, Show Director, Re-Creation USA, Inc.

Regarding “Soul of Liberty”….”Maybe I’m just too sentimental for my old age, but this song brings tears to my eyes.  I see the faces of friends I flew with who didn’t come back.  I remember the feeling of being alienated, spat upon, cursed for serving in a war many didn’t believe in, and yet, having no regrets for risking my life to protect freedom, I’d do it again.  I guess those of us who have risked our lives and live in wounded bodies and minds have a different regard for freedom.  Our sanity requires it.  Listen to the song, “Soul of Liberty.”  It touched my soul.  Let me know if it does the same for you.”

Major Terry Smith USMC (RET), Decatur, AL

Regarding “American Highway”…”Jim Worthing is a devoted Christian and American treasure, whose religious and patriotic convictions give remarkable testimony to the goodness of God and the moral and ethical foundations of this Nation.   Everyone who hears this recording will rejoice in the witness of the man and the adventure and thrill of the music.”

Hugh Brooks, Founder of Re-Creation and The Veterans Fund, Inc.

“ Jim Worthing’s talent and patriotism are exceptional.  He demonstrates his love for this nation and his respect for our active military through countless hours of volunteer activity and personal expense.  His creative talents continue to bring honor and gratitude to those who serve and who have served through his recording of “Soul of Liberty,” a song that he wrote with his wife, LaDonna.”

Katie Brooks, President, The Veterans Fund, Inc.
